Miscare muzicala electronica n-ar fi existat daca nu s-ar fi produs muzica electronica si daca aceasta, ulterior, n-ar fi fost mixata cu maiestrie de catre djs.
Dj-ing-ul a aparut inainte de anii '70 cand asa numitii Disc-jokeys au incercat sa lege piesele unele de altele creand o continuitate muzicala oferita spre auditie publicului present la concerte sau in cluburi.
De atunci si pana in prezent arta de a mixa a cunoscut nenumarate imbunatatiri atat din punct de vedere al aptitudinilor dj-lor cat si din punct de vedere tehnic - fapt datorat evolutiei diverselor generatii de aparate incluse in dj-desk-ul standard sau personalizat al dj-lor
Prin intermediul workshop-ului demonstrativ dj-ii vor oferi publicului (atat fanilor cat si celor care n-au intrat in contact niciodata cu acest domeniu) posibilitatea de a vedea gratuit la lucru djs, de a asculta explicatiile privind tehnica, aparatura si modalitatile de mixare a muzicii
Dj-ii vor prezenta modalitatea de mixare pe aparatura analogica (turn-table), pe cea digitala (cdjs) si pe cea hibrida (final-scratch, traktor-scratch, serato live). Desigur ca un alt punct de atractie il vor constitui demonstratiile privind asa numitele "djs skills".
De asemenea, se va prezenta aparatura folosita: turn-tables, cdjs, mixere, controlere, samplere, adaptoare la tehnologia hibrida digital-analog.
Demonstratia va fi facuta de djs profesionisti, cunoscuti pe scena muzicala romaneasca, profesionalismul lor fiind la cote foarte inalte.

The electronic music movement as we know it today wouldn't have existed without the early productions, or without the excellent and innovative mixing skills of DJs.
The first steps in Djing were taken even before the '70s, when so called Disc-jokeys first tried to connect a number of tracks, creating a form of musical continuity, played by them in concerts or clubs.
Ever since, the art of Dj-ing suffered a lot of changes and improvements, caused both by the growing personal mixing skills of the DJs and also by the technological evolution - which always has been created new gadgets for them.
Through this workshop, Djs will offer to the public (both fans and people who haven't yet been in contact with electronic music) the possibility to see them at work, live and for free, to listen to they're various explications on technical elements, gadgets and the art of DJ-ing.
Djs will describe to the public the mixing on analog technology (turn-table), on digital technology (cdjs) and on hybrid technology (final-scratch, traktor-scratch, serato live). Of course, another main point of interest will be the demonstrations regarding the so called "dj skills".
The equipment that's going to be used will also be described: turn-tables, cdjs, mixers, controllers, samplers and adaptors for the hybrid technology digital-analog.
This demonstrations will be made by professional djs, well known in the romanian electronic music scene for they're skills and professionalism.
