"Am copilarit si am crescut jucând în teatre si la turnee în diferite case de cultura, tatal meu fiind actor deseori jucam alaturi de el si eu în diferite piese de teatru astfel fiind permanent în contact cu cultura si cu publicul,acestea devenind astfel elemente de baza ale vietii mele.Din anul 1994 ascultam mixuri Thunderdome,înregistram toate festivalurile Mayday, Love Parade si emisiunile Club Rotation, Berlin House de pe postul de tv VIVA Germania inclusiv Party Zone de la MTV.Participând numai la party-uri cu muzica rave si hardcore am devenit un raver dorind sa petrec toate noptile alaturi de raveri si sa simt permanent acele senzatii specifice ce sunt prezente la acele partyuri. Acestea m-au determinat sa devin si eu un DJ PROFESIONIST"
In 1998 a început sa invete bazele mixatului pe platane împreuna cu Dj Big Junior la Clubul Helios 2 Satu Mare, urmând apoi participarile la tot mai multe eventuri si partyuri strict numai cu muzica electronica din orasul sau.
In 2000 sub numele de Dj Scotty G. impreuna cu Dj Big Junior începe realizarea unei emisiuni de radio numai cu muzica electronica, cu numele Only House Music-inspirat de versurile hitului de club Mr. Jack-Only House Music, la Radio Samtel, Satu Mare.
In 2003 îsi cumpara propriile pick-up-uri astfel reusind sa îsi formeze propria tehnica de mixare aparând în pupitre sub numele de Dj Robbie Jay ,având deja o colectie de peste 300 de viniluri, devine rezident la Manhattan Club unde mixeaza numai de pe platane. Tot atunci a pornit si emisiunea radio Plastic Mix la Radio Impact-Satu Mare, unde au fost difuzate si seturile live din club. Dupa o scurta pauza de vara din motivul terminarii studiilor de marketing si luarea licentei ca economist, revine în pupitru ca rezident în El Kardinalle Club si ca guest în majoritatea cluburilor din orasul sau.
In 2005 fondând Party-Dj-Team/P.D.T. ,porneste proiectul de emisiune PLASTIC DJ tot la Radio Impact cu info despre dj-i si partyurile din România respectiv Ungaria. Pe lânga mixurile live proprii apar si mixurile al dj-ilor invitati din Ungaria ca de exemplu: Sterbinszky, Shane 54, Julian, Jason Rise, Daneel B., The Furrier Bros, Belocca, Veeco si Gabriel Dancer.
In 2006 porneste seria party-urilor PLASTIC NIGHT unde se mixeaza strict doar de pe platane având stilul muzical de baza Techno. Tot în acest an devine al 2-lea dj din tara care este invitat în Ungaria la Budapest Parádé unde a mixat cu multi dj-i renumiti. Tot în acest an la concursul de dj Stick'Em Up din Bucuresti, eveniment SUNRISE, este câstigatorul locului I la sectiunea Techno. Proiectul de emisiune PLASTIC DJ este difuzat si On-Line pe Radio Dj România,bucurându-se de un success si audienta ridicata fiind ascultata deja în toata tara si strainatate, urmând tot mai multe invitatii la radiouri din tari ca de exemplu: Olanda, Belgia si Ungaria.
In 2007, emisiunea radio Plastic Dj este nominalizata de catre cei de la NIGHTS.RO la NIGHTS.RO AWARDS 2007 la categoria - Cea mai buna emisiune radio cu profil clubbing din România pe 2006. Astfel fiind difuzat concomitent si de alte radiouri ca: Radio Dance, Radio Best, Radio 25-Ungaria. Tot în acel an primeste invitatie în Portugalia, devenind primul dj din România care a mixat pe pamânt portughez.Fiind rezident la 3 cluburi din zona Algarve a mixat cu multi dj-i de renume mondiala urmând apoi sa fie invitat si în Slovacia fiind la fel si aici primul dj din România.
In 2008 revine ca invitat în numeroase cluburi din tara,festivaluri din România si totodata Ungaria având sansa sa mixeze cu multi dj-i internationali. Tot în acest an face parte deja si el dintre artistii SKILLS Records si SUNDESIRE Tech Records unde apar si productiile persomale semnate Dj Robbie Jay,de exemplu:

Today Dj Robbie Jay doesn't need to be introduced. During the past couple of years he has performed at almost every club and party in Romania.
"I spent my childhood being raised in theaters because my father is an actor,so in time the culture and the audience became basic elements of my life.
In the summer of 1994 I recieved some tapes with the Thunderdome Compilation from Germany. Watching and recording all Mayday, Love Parade and Nature One festivals, Club Rotation and Berlin House shows from VIVA TV, Party Zone from MTV, participating only to rave and hardcore parties, I've became a raver wanting to spend all my nights with other ravers and to feel permanently the special feeling at every single party.That feeling made me want to be a PROFESIONAL DJ."
In 2003 he bought his own professional turntables and acquired his personal mixing style and technique. This way he steped in the music industry under the name of Robbie Jay.He had hundreds of vinyls in his collection and became the resident Dj at the Manhattan Club. In the meantime he started the radio show named Plastic Mix at Radio Impact -Satu Mare, mixing live every weekend.
After a short break made to finish his studies and graduate as an economist, he returned on the music scene mixing in most of the clubs in his town and became the resident Dj in El Kardinale Club-Satu Mare.
In 2005 Robbie Jay fonding the non-profit organization PARTY DJ TEAM which organised events strictly with electronic music.
Also on that year he started the Plastic Dj project at Radio Impact, a show which offered informations about Djs and their parties in Romania as well as in Hungary and mixes with guest Djs like: Sterbinszky, Shane 54, Julian, Jason Rise, Daneel B., The Furrier Bros, Belocca, Veeco, Gabriel Dancer, …
In 2006 he started the Plastic Night party series with djs mixing only on turntables, and the basic music style was Techno.
Also this year he became the second dj in Romania to be invited in Hungary at the biggest open air festival Budapest Parade.
He also participated at the Stick 'Em Up Dj contest in Bucharest, a SUNRISE event, and won FIRST prize, at the Techno section. The Plastic Dj radio show project became On-Line at Radio Dj Romania having a huge success and audience, being listened in Romania and other countries, so he was invited to many on-line radio shows in other countries like: Holland, Belgium and Hungary.
At the beginning of 2007, the Plastic Dj radio show has been nominated at Nights.ro Awards 2007 as "The best clubbing radio show from Romania for 2006". The show became more popular and it appeared at other radio stations like: Radio Dance(Romania), Radio Best(Romania), Radio 25(Hungary).
In spring he was invited in Portugal being the first Romanian dj mixing on Portuguese land.
In Portugal he became resident of 3 important clubs in Algarve, where he played with many famous international djs and in automn he was invited in Slovakia where he was the first Romanian dj to play there as well.
2008 offered him a lot of invitations in the most of the clubs and festivals in Romania and Hungary, having the chance to play with many famous djs. Also, this year Robbie Jay became a SKILLS Records and SUNDESIRE Tech Records artist and producing tracks and remixes like:
