Workshop demonstrativ vjing - arta de a mixa imagini

VJ - artist ce ofera un real contur artei visuale realizate in general pe ecrane de dimensiuni mari in cluburi sau la evenimente cum ar fi concerte sau festivaluri de muzica, imaginile fiind de cele mai multe ori imbinate cu ritmul muzicii.
Visuals - denumite si video samples, loops sau "vizualizari", sunt animatii sau materiale video, de durata scurta, folosite in mixajele video de catre VJ.
Arta visuals-urilor, isi are inceputurile in anii '60, odata cu realizarea unor "video sintetizatoare", de catre inventatori amatori. Cu trecerea anilor acest sector a evoluat, trecand din lumea analogica in cea digitala, fiind dezvoltate diverse solutii hardware sau software dedicate.
VJing-ul este intr-o stransa legatura, mai ales, cu lumea muzicii electronice, completand atmosfera in cadrul oricarui eveniment. In spatele imaginilor afisate pe ecranele de proiectie, plasme, LCD-uri sau mai nou, ecrane LED, de cele mai multe ori se afla un VJ sau o echipa de VJs. Astfel, nu este stimulat doar simtul auditiv participantilor, ci si cel vizual al acestora, doua dintre cele mai importante simturi umane.
Dar pentru ca experienta traita de participanti, in cadrul unui eveniment sau party de club, sa fie de calitate, este necesara o munca care incepe cu mult timp inainte de evenimentul propriu-zis. Aceasta implica creatie, studiu, cunostiinte tehnice sau sincronizare cu muzica, iar totul sa fie realizat cu multa pasiune.
Tocmai pentru ca publicul sa intre contact cu aceasta arta inca putin inteleasa in Romania, ne propunem sa exemplificam totul live, in cadrul unor prezentari demonstrative.
Acestea vor include prezentarea: diferitelor tehnici de proiectie, a solutiilor software (Resolume, Modul8, Motion Dive Tokyo, Numark NuVj) sau hardware (mixer video Edirol V-4, sampler video Korg Kaptivator, effectorul Korg KaossPad Entrancer AV, cat si a diverse controllere MIDI, folosite de catre VJ), toate insotite de demonstratii live.
In cadrul prezentarilor se vor folosi 4 sisteme Apple de ultima generatie (Noul Apple IMac, Apple IMac G5, Apple Mac Pro si Apple MacBook Pro).
De asemenea, vor fi folosite minim 3 videoproiectoare (3000 de lumeni), cateva ecrane cu plasma, si alta aparatura necesara cum ar fi video switcher, ecrane de control, etc.
Demonstratiile live, prezentarile si aparatura, vor fi asigurate de catre Amazing Visuals in colaborare cu Vj Nyx, VJ cu o bogata experienta in evenimente de muzica electronica, cat si in evenimente comerciale, fiind unul din membrii fondatori ai Amazing Visuals.
Pe aceasta cale, dorim sa permitem publicului sa cunoasca, sa atinga si sa priveasca, o arta care devine tot mai cunoscuta la nivel international, atat in cadrul unor evenimente de muzica electronica, cat si in cadrul unor lansari sau evenimente comerciale, o arta care ne captiveaza privirea, realizand uneori simbioza perfecta dintre muzica si imagini.

Vj - a performance artist who creates moving visual art (often video) on large displays or screens, often at events such as concerts, clubs and music festivals, and usually in conjunction with other performance art. This results in a live, multimedia performance that can include music, actors or dancers as well as live and pre-recorded video.
Visuals - also known as video samples or loops, these are short animations or short video material, used in video mixing by Vj`s.
The art of visuals traces its roots to the creation of " video synthesizers" by amateur inventors. With the passing of the years this sector evolved, making the leap form analogue into the digital world. This technical leap was possible with the help of various dedicated hardware and software.
Vj-ing goes in a close relationship with the world of electronic music, completing the atmosphere of any event. Behind the flashing images on the projection screens, plasma or LCD screens, or the top-of-the art LED screens, usually lies a Vj or a team of Vjs. Therefore, two of the most important human senses are stimulated: the hearing and the sight.
But for the participant's experience within an event or club party to be of quality, it is necessary for the Vjs to begin working long before the event. This involves creativity, studio and technical knowledge or good music timing, and everything has to be done with a lot of passion.
To connect the public to this seldom-understood art in Romania, we are going to demonstrate everything live, during a workshop.
This workshop will include presentations, different projection techniques, software solutions (Resolume, Modul8, Motion Dive Tokyo, Numark NuVj) or hardware (mixer video Edirol V-4, sampler video Korg Kaptivator, Korg KaossPad Entrancer AV, as well as various MIDI controllers, used by a VJ), all these along with live demonstration.
During the presentation 4 top of the line Apple systems will be used (the new Apple IMac, Apple IMac G5, Apple Mac Pro and Apple MacBook Pro).
Furthermore, a minimum of 3 powerfull video projectors, several plasma screens, and other necessary equipment (video switcher, control screens etc.) will be used.
Amazing Visuals will assure live demonstration, presentation and equipment in collaboration with Vj Nyx, a Vj with a broad experience covering electronic music events, as well as commercial events. He is one of the founders of Amazing Visuals.
This way, we would like the public to know, touch and watch an art that is progressively becoming more and more known internationally, during electronic music events, as well as during releases or commercial events. This is an art that captivates the eyes and sometimes even manages to create the perfect symbiosis between music and images.
